Receiving and Processing: Unload delivery vehicles, inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies, verify contents against purchase orders or invoices, and process items into the inventory system.
Inventory Management: Organize and store merchandise in designated locations, manage stock levels, conduct regular inventory counts (cycle counts) and audits, and report any lost, damaged, or missing materials to a supervisor.
Order Fulfillment: Pick products from stock according to order forms, pack and label items securely for shipping, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup schedules.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and stack products and materials.
Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, follow all health and safety procedures and regulations, and perform routine safety checks on equipment.
Documentation and Communication: Complete daily logs, maintain accurate documentation and reports related to warehouse operations, and communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, suppliers, and carriers.
