Job Description:

A. Delivery Operations

  • Ensures that products loaded in the delivery trucks are accurate in quantity and specifications as per load manifest
  • Checks and inspects delivery vehicle unit for safety using the BLOWFAAD form
  • Ensures that documents and equipment required for the delivery are complete prior to check out
  • Drives, maneuvers and navigates the truck to desired destination, ensuring safety of products and passengers
  • Transports the products promptly and within schedule
  • Assists in the unloading of the goods to ensure fast, efficient and safe transport of the products to the customer
  • Collects Bad Orders as indicated in the delivery documents (negative invoice, RTV)
  • Escalates delivery rejections and follows Distribution Supervisor’s disposition
  • Compiles, encodes, categorizes and audits data once the products are delivered
  • Performs collection activity for certain outlets as may be designated
  • Performs cooler replenishment for Direct to Store Deliveries
  • Secures documents (receipts, invoices) and collection (cash or check) in the course of the delivery operation to ensure proper settlement upon check in

B. Customer Relations and Communication

  • Presents a good image of the company when dealing with the clients
  • Interacts with the clients regarding their concerns and complaints
  • Ensures compliance to currently implemented procedures and processes (e.g. CROCS, Glass Policy, etc.)
  • Interacts with the Delivery Service Supervisor and other co-workers to ensure smooth flow of delivery processes
  • Immediately reports to his Supervisor all issues and concerns that will affect completion of the delivery, including delays, accidents and other traffic situations

C. Equipment Maintenance

  • Prepares requests for repairs for trucks based on the inspections using the BLOWFAAD form
  • Ensures proper use and cleanliness of the truck being used
  • Transfer of trucks for maintenance/repair

D. Others

  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in driving articulated trucks (10 wheeler)
  • Professional Driver’s License Restriction B & B1
  • With NCII and NCIII certification
