Job Description:

Production Management:

  • Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure production goals are met efficiently and on schedule.
  • Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows.
  • Monitor production metrics and adjust processes as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Oversee the storage and handling of materials to prevent damage and waste.

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits and training.
  • Address any safety issues or incidents promptly.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and manage the operations budget.
  • Implement cost control measures without compromising quality.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Introduce new technologies and methods to streamline operations.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate operational processes for improvement.

Customer Relations:

  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints and issues related to product quality and delivery.
  • Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders.

 

 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the aluminum doors and windows industry.
  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in production management software and tools.
