Monitor workplace conditions and identify potential health risks or hazards.
Work with the safety committee to ensure that the workplace meets health and safety standards.
Advise on ergonomic practices and the proper setup of workstations to prevent injuries.
Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and implement emergency response plans, including protocols for workplace accidents, fires, or other health emergencies
Lead or assist in emergency drills and safety training programs for employees.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Collaborate with HR, Safety Officers, and management to address employee health concerns and promote a healthy work environment.
Provide regular reports on health and safety activities, workplace injuries, and health programs to senior management
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
A Registered Nurse with an updated PRC License
At least one year of experience in an industrial setting as a Health Care Nurse. Demonstrates good moral character and possesses excellent interpersonal skills
Preferably completed forty (40) hours of training in Occupational Health and Safety, conducted by a DOLE/EWC Accredited Training Organization
Preferably has experience and knowledge in the administration of HMO and government-mandated benefits such as SSS and PhilHealth
Strong presentation & communication skills, both verbal and written
