Job Description:

  • Assess and determine health status of employees which includes recommendations like sent home or fit to return back to work
  • Refers/transports ill employee to the hospital as necessary
  • Conducts regular inventory of medicines and medical supplies. Prepares PR of such to ensure availability at all times.
  • Conducts home visit or follow up employees with chronic illnesses or on prolonged sick leave.
  • Implements immunization programs to employees as well as to theirs dependents.
  • Conducts periodic plant tour to determine any possible health and safety hazards.
  • Create health and safety awareness among employees.
  • Performs health counseling and conducts health education programs from time to time.
  • Maintains and updates employees individual medical record with strict confidentiality.
  • Act as in-house HMO administrator. Coordinates with provider to resolve any issues/concerns, review and process payment.
  • Assess pre-employmebt medical examination results and coordinates status/evaluation to recruitment.
  • In-charge/monitors sick leave on time to avoid delayed payment.
  • Schedule and implement annual medical examination of employees.
  • Ensure effectivedelivery of nursing and patient services
  • Provides emerhency palliative care and treatment to employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibility such as first aid treatment, checking of vital signs, health interviews and dispensing of medicines.
  • Develops health and safety medicines
  • ensures company is compliant with public health and safety legislations.
  • Prepares monthly health report
  • Other HR/Nursing tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • A Registered Nurse with updated PRC License
  • With Good Moral Character/Interpersonal Skills
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in an industrial setting as Health Care Nurse
  • Preferably completed (50) hours training on Occupational Health and Safety conducted by DOLE/EWC Accredited Training Organization
  • Preferable with HMO knowledge and administration of government mandated benifits such as SSS and Philhealth.
