Manually load and unload packages, goods, or products into and from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secured to prevent damage during transit.
Follow assigned routes and time schedules, using maps or GPS applications to determine the most efficient path and planning for potential delays like traffic or road closures.
Drive the company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner at all times, strictly obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with customers professionally, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery (POD), and collecting payments if required.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and expenses. Complete all necessary paperwork and daily reports related to deliveries and returned merchandise.
Conduct routine pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking tire pressure, oil levels, lights, etc.) and notify management of any equipment needs or required repairs to ensure the vehicle is always in good working condition.
Assist with general warehouse duties, such as sorting freight or managing inventory, when not actively driving or making deliveries
