Job Description:

  • Recording of financial transactions, which includes posting of information to accounting journals/accounting software from source documents such as suppliers’ invoices for local and overseas. Ensure compliance with tax regulations such as withholding taxes.
  • Responsible for the timely payment of the company’s payables to maintain vendor trust and avoid late fees.
  • Receives and validates invoices from local and overseas vendors. Resolves issues and discrepancies against the purchase orders or contracts.
  • Processes and coordinates with banks' registration of overseas suppliers’ invoices for payment processing.
  • Prepares and monitors a summary of monthly local and overseas payables for the cash flow report.
  • Prepares and processes accounts payable checks and wire transfers for overseas suppliers.
  • Reconcile suppliers’ outstanding balances, track expenses, and generate reports to support budgeting and strategic financial planning.
  • Monitors security deposit from local suppliers.
  • Assists in the preparation of the monthly financial statement report with supporting schedules.
  • Assists the team during annual audit and internal audit from Japan.
  • Prepares the lease schedule for annual audit report.
  • Recording of payroll entries from the payroll registry for charging of the cost to job order both for service and project department.
  • Performs related tasks as directed such us but not limited to during audit.

 

Qualifications:

  • With at least 2-3 years related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, Business Administration major in Finance or related courses.
  • CPA is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as but not limited to QuickBooks or SAP.
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information.
  • Knowledge of Philippine taxation, invoices, and government compliance is an advantage.
