Job Location: BAESA, QUEZON CITY

Job Description:

Responsible for ensuring the company’s full adherence to Philippine tax laws and financial reporting standards. This role manages the end-to-end tax cycle and reconciling accounts for the timely filing of returns via eBIRForms or eFPS. The ideal candidate acts as the primary gatekeeper against tax-related risks and penalties

• Tax Compliance & Filing
  • Monthly/Quarterly Returns: Prepare, review, and file all recurring tax returns including VAT (Form 2550Q), Expanded Withholding Tax (1601-EQ), Final Withholding Tax (1601-FQ), Fringe Benefit Tax (1603-Q), and Withholding Tax on Compensation (1601-C).
• Financial Accounting & Reconciliation
  • Tax Reconcilation: Perform monthly reconciliations between the financial statements and tax returns (e.g., reconciling Vatable sales in the GL vs. the VAT Return).
• Audit & Risk Management
  • Audit Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and BIR examiners during tax mapping or Letter of Authority (LOA) investigations. 
• Invoicing Function
  • Review and approve Sales Invoices in the system 
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and regulatory requirements

 

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or any finance-related field
• CPA license is an advantage

Work Experience:

• Strong background in tax compliance
• In-depth knowledge of BIR tax regulations
• Hands-on experience in filing tax returns
• Experienced in BIR tax audits

• Analytical and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
• Self-starter with excellent leadership and people management abilities
• Skilled in financial reporting and account reconciliations
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
• High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other data analysis tools
