Perform routine inspections and use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles.
Conduct basic maintenance, such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations, and perform repairs or replacement of worn or broken parts, including engine components, brakes, and steering systems.
Work on both traditional mechanical systems and increasingly complex electronic systems, requiring familiarity with various vehicle components.
Maintain accurate records of all inspections and repairs performed on vehicles.
Explain detected automotive problems and proposed repairs clearly and professionally to customers.
Proficiently use a wide range of manual and computerized diagnostic tools and equipment.
Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, including hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
Qualifications:
Associate and High School Degree in Technical, Welding, Diesel, Automotive and Automotive Technology,
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical skills
Experience using hand and power tools to replace and repair parts
