Review, redline and draft contract language to efficiently execute Non Disclosure Agreements, Consulting Services Agreements, Licensing Agreements and Master Purchasing Agreements with terms and conditions that are favorable to the company. This entails working directly with vendor contract administrators and the company’s Legal Counsel to reach final agreement.
Work directly with Finance Team and internal business customers to ensure adherence to finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies. May include ‘financial engineering’ and understanding/evaluating economic impact of terms and term options. Applies business savvy relative to price negotiation and strategic procurement spend to maximize savings to company for IT Telecom procurement transactions.
Possess knowledge of pricing structures for Telecom services purchases for various telecom services such as voice, dedicated internet, data services including different technologies such as T1, OC-3, MAN and other high speed WAN services.
Maintain knowledge on pricing structures for Telecom equipment purchases such as voice phone systems, data switches, routers, content switches, etc.
Maintain knowledge of Federal Communications Commission regulations and how they affect the vendor’s offering and delivery of telecommunications services and equipment. This knowledge will also include how FCC regulations determine IT Telecom purchase contracts and agreements terms and conditions.
Duties include responsibility for all phases of RFI/RFQ/RFP generation, pricing proposal analysis, final vendor selection, contract negotiation/execution, including subsequent hand off/turn over to internal business units to manage services once the contract is signed with the selected vendor.
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal customers and external vendors.

Candidate should possess three to five years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and contract management/negotiation preferably on IT and/or Telecom related field. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff/management and conduct presentations directly to executive management.
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, telecommunications or other business or IT related course of study or equivalent work experience of a minimum of ten years in telecom services negotiation/contract management.
