  • Supervises Treasury Operations Department as back office support of Treasury Group products which includes but not limited to FX transactions, LNBR transactions, derivatives transactions, fixed income GS transactions, and Land Bank Bonds
  • Take the direct instructions from Head of Global Treasury Operations Group in parent bank to improve and streamline the back office workflows, and ensure all processes are in line with the standards and requirements of parent bank.
  • Make sure all procedures and workflows related to Treasury products are properly documented and complied with the external regulations of BSP or other supervisory government agents, as well as internal policies and procedures of the bank and parent bank.
  • Direct supervision and monitoring of the daily BAU’s, and ensure all settlement processes are smooth and correct.
  • Train the staffs and officers to be more knowledgeable, skillful and familiar with the processes of Treasury products.
  • Search and look for helps from either the bank or the parent bank to improve the daily process, and reinforce the automation of systems and reports to achieve the goal of cost-saving and higher efficiency.
  • Coordinate all kinds of problems raised by internal parties or external parties, and follow up the status of these unsolved problems.
  • Seek and train potential candidate who has potential and qualification and can be trusted to be in charge of Treasury Operation Department by the concurrence of parent bank.
  • Other responsibilities include:
    • Back up checker’s jobs whenever the checker is on leave.
    • With signing authority A to all Treasury Product documents, BSP and Regulatory reports.
    • Attends regular meetings related to OPEX, audits, and operations.
    • Approves weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual reports for BSP regulatory reports and for Parent Bank –H.O. 
    • Submit to our Risk and Control Dept. the monthly KRI and URG reports.
    • Update my team if there are new regulations implemented from our HRAG, compliance, or legal.

  • MBA, preferred but not required
  • Fluent in English.  Conversant in Chinese, Taiwanese (preferred because of constant dealings with Parent Bank)
  • At least 8 years of experience in Treasury Operations and familiar with products of FX, MM, FX margin trading, bond options, IRS, CCS, FX options.
  • Must have enough product knowledge and be familiar with the MUREX process and legal side of Treasury products, and understand and familiar the whole process flow of all Treasury Products.
  • Must know about ISDA and its related sub-documentations.
  • Must know the settlement, confirmation, payment, and processes of Treasury products.
  • Must easily grasp the idea of new derivatives products created by Treasury and figure out the solutions on operations side.
  • Must know how to get help from related parties before a new product is launched.
  • Must have the ability to ensure the related documents like PP, procedures, manuals, system, interface, accounting, compliance are ready before launching new products.
  • Must posses an analytical and logical mind and good communication skills both oral and written.
  • Can work under pressure and long overtime.
  • Care for subordinates and has teamwork spirit.
  • Can guide subordinate in all aspects.
