Job Location: Alabang and Cebu City

Job Description:

• Coordinate provisioning and activation of new circuit deployments with telecom providers, external service providers and internal customers
• Assist with network problem resolution for the company's global data network
• Provide coordination for network problem resolution during Americas business hours and non-business hours of other regions
• Serve as off-hours standby support for other regions
• Network problem escalation with service provider
• Validate Network configurations
• Network change management approval and validation
• Validate network and architecture design drawings
• Network configuration management including documentation
• Assist with network project implementation
• Review reports and recommend follow up actions
• Create network reports

Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years hands-on technical support experience in data communications environment
• Must have strong Cisco skills
• Minimum certification of CCDP or CCNP
• Experience with Cisco Nexus and F5 LTM/GTM is advantageous
• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies such as LAN, WAN, Wireless networking, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP
• Working knowledge of VPNs, IP Telephony, Remote Access Environments, WAN Optimization
• Knowledge of networking monitoring tools Vitalnet, CiscoWorks, Whats Up Gold and Riverbed Cascade is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be a strong team player and have good customer service skills
• Willing to work on a fixed night-shift schedule
