Solutions Specialist (Printers & Scanners)

Job Description:

  • Work closely with sales team and potential customers in visualizing the solution during pre-sales/sales process to design the structure of a solution
  • Provide product, business, and technical knowledge to Sales Executives
  • Help equip the Sales Executives with basic understanding of existing product solutions
  • Undertake tasks requiring technical analysis, diagnosis and problem solving, qualifying the product fit and defining support needs, analyzing the client’s needs and determining the best solution for the prospect
  • Provide customer feedback to sales regarding product evaluation/demo reporting including coordination of gaps between product functionality and marketing/customer demands. Coordinating other technical resources as necessary
  • Study competitors' products and analyze its strength and weaknesses
  • Provide product presentation and orientation to sales executives, partners, and end-users
  • Ensure that product showroom is functional


  • Graduate of any four (4) year I.T.,  Engineering or Business Course
  • With at least two (2) years of work experience as sales engineer, preferably in the information technology market place.
  • Experience in selling solutions into enterprise networks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be customer focused and have the ability to manage and resolve solutions to complex technical issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills, and ability to interface to senior levels of an organization is required
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft’s Desktop, Server and Infrastructure Technologies/ Platforms
  • Highly motivated, hands on personality
  • Ability to multitask and work independently toward stated business goals
