Job Location: Mandaluyong/ Makati City

Job Description:

Produces Technical Assessment Report (TAR) for projects that involve ISG applications through the following:

  • Validates completeness of Service Request (SR) and Technical Request Form (TRF) assigned by ASD Head
  • Conducts pre-work for the Technical Assessment Session (TAS)
  • Analyzes (and clarifies as necessary) the requirements in the TRF
  • Identifies solution options
  • Performs impact assessment on existing systems
  • Aligns solution options with roadmap/plans:

- Prepares TAR for submission to ASD Head

- Monitors and manages the progress of the development of TAR through regular communication with business sponsors/users, Globe technical teams and 3rd party partners/vendors

- Performs walk-through of approved TAR to the Solutions Deliver team

- Helps define the project scope/business requirement during the ideation stage of service delivery

Provides inputs for Capacity Models by:

  • Performing re-assessment of identified capacity drivers to determine applicability on current systems
  • Validating capacity utilization for each application system by gathering and collating utilization reports from monitoring system:

- Provides inputs and recommendations related to the specific domains during Business Planning and Roadmap discussions

- Identifies potential issues, conflicts, or misalignments across system roadmaps and recommends course of action to resolve them

- Initiates Request for Information (RFI) process for projects/initiatives involving new technologies.

- Initiates regular sessions and consults with business teams to learn and be updated with initiatives

- Aligns ISG application standards to network, security, and infrastructure standards

  • Conducted Technical Assessment Session (TAS) within SLA
  • Documented inputs relevant to the project
  • Presentation of current capabilities and how they relate to the business requirements:

- Inputs for Capacity Models for the ISG managed systems submitted to the Service Level Manager for consolidation, review, and approval

- Inputs to the ISG Architecture roadmap presented to the Department Head annually

- Recommendations on new and emerging technologies for integration into the ISG architecture

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Math, Science, Engineering or any IT-related course
  • Must least three (3) years experience in Project Management preferably with Telco or IT (implementation)
  • Extensive work experience in the Telecommunications industry is an advantage
  • Must have knowledge/ training in PM, ITSM, InfoSec, Business Admin, & Quality
  • Must have knowledge/ experience on servers, databases, operating systems, network, process flows
