Job Description:

ICMS Programmer for OCS Development

The Programmer is expected to perform program coding. He/she will also conduct code testing and project coordination necessary to implement the product, as well as provide technical support for systems running in production. The Programmer provides inputs, status to his Team Lead or Project Manager particular to system/project he/she is assigned.

• Perform program coding based on Specifications provided by Systems Analyst/Analyst Programmer.
• Test and Troubleshoot programs.
• Create ad-hoc queries for data extraction requirements.
• Impact analysis for code changes.
• Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
• Perform post-implementation reviews which includes performance analysis, quality of delivered programs, if delivered based on standards and agreed specs.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
• Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Provide technical support to systems running in production.
• Performs other job-related duties that may be assigned by superior from time to time

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of BS Computer Science/ Engineering or any IT Course
• With three (3) years of solid software development experience
• With minimum one (1) year experience in any of the following environment: RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLE
• Experience working with AS400 environment
• Good orientation of SDLC
• With background in Systems Analysis and Design
