Press/ Media Relations Assistants

Job Description:

  • Handling media relations;
  • Establishing relationships with well-connected people in the media industry;
  • Monitoring media coverage;
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
  • Assisting in the planning, developing and implementing PR strategies;
  • Maintaining and updating information on the company’s website and social media accounts;
  • Assisting in the organization of programs and events including press conferences that will bring exposure to the organization;
  • Creating internal and external communication campaigns;
  • Abiding to the ethics in public relation – communicating accurate and truthful information and protecting confidential information;
  • Perform other related duties assigned


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communications or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in PR and/or Marketing/ Corporate Communications.
  • Highly organized and keen attention to details
  • Can work for long hours and with minimal supervision
  • Can work well with a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interest in the social media
  • Tech savvy
