Responsible and Accountable for monitor and control of key systems: to monitor all events that occur throughout the IT infrastructure (and applications) to allow for normal service operation and to detect and resolve/escalate exceptions. Scope includes Configuration Items, Environmental conditions, Software license monitoring for usage to ensure legal license utilization, Security (e.g. firewall breach) and Normal Activities (e.g. system utilization, batch job completion)
Plans and schedules shifts of operators to ensure that sufficient resources are available as per monitor and control operation demand.
Formulates/Updates Monitor and Control Instructions, Policies, Guidelines and Procedures based on required process.
Provide training to the Monitor and Control Team with regards to all new or updates on instructions, policies, guidelines, processes and procedures plus best way to use tools and maximize use of their features.
To ensure that monitor and control standards and policies are adhered to with consistency by each member of the Monitor and Control Team.

At least 3 years business experience with monitor and control support role.
Graduate of at least a four-year degree course relevant to the field of Information Technology or any other related course.
Requires ability in planning, coordinating and organizing projects related to application administration.
Able to document, explain and process information and evaluate proposed and configured solutions to these requirements.
Ability to manage time for timely delivery of projects and operational tasks.
Requires ability to directly and indirectly work and communicate with people of different nationalities.
Preferred - Prior experience in a regional or global monitor and control operations.
Preferred - Prior experience in a team lead role.
Preferred - Has applied ITIL concepts in previous work experience.
