Responsible for ensuring that the Technical team, vessel crew and other concerned parties are always updated and well-informed on latest marine-related regulations, current programs and operations issues, such as :
Weather reports/forecast,
Procedures relating to safety and environmental protection, and
Hygiene and medical programs of the company.
Responsible for coordinating with third parties on matters relating to chartering and P & I claims and communicating to ship owners and to management.
Qualifications:
Graduate of 4 years baccalaureate course
Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering, Mechanical engineering or Marine Transportation or Naval Architecture
2nd Engineer license for Marine Engineer or Chief Mate license for Marine Transportation or Naval Architecture license
With minimum of five (5) years experience in shipmanagement operation
Technical skills on marine regulations and insurance-related matters
Knowledge on shipmanagement business and trends
Good communication and strong coordination skills
Can motivate, inspire and create positive attitude among team members
High safety and risk consciousness
Good work ethics and high integrity
Can analyze problems, make decision and take appropriate actions even under extreme pressure
