Responsible for processing of WVA field commitments and allocations in the Partnership Budget and Actuals System (PBAS) database and in the WVA Field Allocations Ledger
Maintain integrity and timeliness of data in PBAS, including multiple year forecasts.
Assist with the year-end carry-forward process in accordance with the agreed policy
Timely completion of month-end and year-end processes to ensure accurate information is provided to stakeholders
Update donor promise field forecasts in Field Allocations Ledger to enable field reporting and planning
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce or Finance
With Post Graduate qualification (CA/ CPA)
Demonstrate knowledge of business principles and practices, transaction processing and account reconciliation
Work experience in an accounting environment
Experience as a management accountant
Experience in international development or project accounting
Ability to use SUNSystems accounting package
Computer literacy skills, MS Office Suite, finance systems
Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving skills
Effective in written and verbal communication in English
International Cross-cultural experience in an NGO setting is an edge
