Capacity planning and performance tuning of SQL Databases.
Create and implement operational policies for SQL DBs security, connectivity, and performance, while monitoring to ensure compliance with these policies and service levels.
Manage and modify enterprise search configuration.
Respond to needs to recover SQL data and configuration.
Manage new code or features deployment across pre-production and production environments.
Develop solutions for hardware and software malfunctions as required.
Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned, including administrative and planning functions.
Attend and participate in chapel services and daily devotional meetings.
Qualifications:
A degree in computer science or a related discipline. With MCSE Certification preferably 2003.
Must possess a proven track record in implementing, maintaining and supporting a SQL database for a medium/large complex organization.
In depth experience with design and implementation of SQL 2005 / 2008.?
Experience with five to seven years industry experience with at least three of those years providing web infrastructure support in a windows environment.
Visual Studio, ASP.Net-based components to develop custom Web Parts used throughout the Portal website.

Demonstrated skills with configuration and administration of an HP EVA-series and NetApp SAN desired
TCP/IP configuration, HTTP/HTTPS, SM TP and LD AP
Cluster installation and troubleshooting
Installation, configuration, and management of fiber channel switches
