Job Location: Makati City

Job Description:

• The BI Systems Specialist will work as part of a virtual team to provide support for the Pacific Group’s BI System. 
• This broad role includes systems analysis, technical, operational and change management analysis and also project management.
• Specifically the role will include:
  • Understanding, planning, executing and testing complex change and service requests in line with existing procedures
  • Client engagement with business users, data stewards and end users to identify, understand and translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Working with team members to transition new capabilities, data sources or services into the production environment.
  • Applying skills to quickly diagnose and resolve any BI systems issues.
  • Knowledge management and documentation of BI system.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements to services or reduction in costs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Computer Science or any IT course
• Minimum 5 years IT system and database management
• Experience with large scale and complex Project management
• Proven track record and experience in change management
• ITIL Foundation Certificate or higher
• Advanced knowledge of SSIS/SSAS 2008R2, SQL Database and OLAP
• Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 Administration and SharePoint Enterprise suite of products and excel pivot tables.
• Experience with Oracle DB preferred
• **Strong spoken and written English and Japanese communications skills

Work Environment

• Candidate must be able to work flexible hours and weekends as the role requires.
• Work location Manila or Shanghai
• Some travel across Asia Pacific region
