Act as a hands-on senior technical resource for small team of system administrators while coaching, training, and directing the work of junior teammates
Assist with defining and executing ongoing administration and health maintenance plans, procedures, and operations
Diagnose, resolve, and communicate advanced problems
Communicate with internal clients, vendor partners, and stakeholders
Collaborate with information engineers when coding, testing, implementing and documenting standards and procedures
Create and implement a systems administration and improvement program to maximize uptime and service delivery in accordance with business needs and priorities
Participate in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements and conversions. Recommends solutions as appropriate
Maintain and document security, integrity, business continuity, compliance and audit controls of existing environment and when designing information technology solutions
Develop metrics to report and monitor performance while analyzing KPI’s
Stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies to ensure that customer requirements are met

Strong understanding of configuring and supporting Microsoft Windows OS technology including AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS and Organizational Units
Proficiency with Windows 2008 R2 Active Directory including Group Policy Object creation and management, AD migration and backup/recovery best practice
Working experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and/or VMware ESXi Hypervisors
Working experience VMware vSphere and vCenter Server including the use of templates, cloning techniques and snapshot management
Automation using Power Shell 2.0 scripting technologies
Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of the pillars of the ITIL framework
Familiar with Enterprise backup and recovery methodologies
Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Windows and AD
Four to six years system administration experience in a global enterprise-class environment.
